Come & Try...rides on various craft on the Lake

Back by popular demand will be the fabulous and much talked about "Come & try " on the Margam Lake jointly sponsored by Swansea Water Sports and All Points West . Again we will get you afloat under R.Y.A. Trained staff from both companies in anything from Canoes, dinghies , Jet Skis and the Famous Zap Cats!!!!

Run by Swansea Watersports and All Points West sailing school the South Wales Boat Show, is offering all visitors of all ages the chance to have a ride on various craft, accompanied by trained instructors on the lake at Margam Park. Last year we had Jet Ski's, Inflatable Power Boats, Zap Cats, Yachts, Canoes and Coracles. Well over 1000 visitors enjoyed rides on the craft, under the streaming sunshine over the two days of the event, this year promises to be better, as the lake will also host a floating marina courtesy of Versadock with several craft afloat for visitors to come aboard and look around.

The Safety of our visitors is paramount, all visitors taking part on the Come & Try will be required to wear Lifejackets and will always be accompanied by a R.Y.A trained instructor at all times.

The Come and Try will be on a first come Basis and all Completely Free.. so book early at stand 1 near the lake when you arrive, to avoid dissapointment. Last year we were delighted to put over 1000 children and their families afloat on the lake over the 3 days.
